About the Owners

Rebecca Lynn-I have been natural since June 2011. I had been getting relaxers for about 21 years, and had never contemplated going natural. My stylist told me for years that I didn’t need a relaxer, but I didn’t think it was for me. I have several cousins who are natural and I liked the hairstyles that they were wearing. I started stretching out the time between relaxers to about every 12 weeks and noticed my hair was still very manageable. I decided to go natural after my last relaxer in November of 2010. I did the big chop on June 9, 2011. I love my natural hair, and I wish I would have made the decision a long time ago. Having other naturals to turn to for suggestions and advice has made my journey so much easier.
I only cared about maintaining length prior to going natural; I was not concerned about the ingredients in the hair and skin care products that I was using.  Since going natural, I use all natural products whenever possible, and I love experimenting with recipes for hair and skin care. Eve told me about wanting to start selling hair products, and I had been encouraging her to pursue her dream. She later told me that she wanted me to join her in the venture. We put our ideas together, and things took off from there.
We believe in using high quality ingredients in our products, and strive to deliver quality and affordable natural hair and body products to our customers.

Evelyn Yvette-I contemplated going natural for several years before I made the decision to go for it. I was always envious of people I saw who were natural and thought their hair was beautiful. Finally, I got fed up with having an extremely dry and irritated scalp so I decided the relaxer I got for my 30th birthday would be my last one. In January 2010 I officially began transitioning. I was able to fight the good fight for 8 months and then the struggle to maintain two different hair textures became too hard. My beautician cut the rest of my relaxed ends in August 2010. I wore protective styles (braids and sew-ins) for another 8 months. This allowed me to protect my ends in the colder months while giving my hair the opportunity to grow to a length I would be comfortable wearing out. In April 2011 I revealed my kinky tresses to the world and haven't looked back. I instantly fell in love with all things natural hair. I found myself spending hours researching, reading blogs, and watching YouTube videos. I have gained so much knowledge from several different media outlets which is what has made my journey a lot easier than I expected. As a result I have started a natural hair blog and an all natural product line with Rebecca in just five short months.
It is my desire to share with the world what I am so very passionate about. We will continue to make quality products at affordable prices and hope that our customers will enjoy what we offer as much as we do!
